Cardiac coherence:
The practice of cardiac coherence relies on controlling your breathing to achieve an optimal frequency of 6 breaths per minute. It is probably one of the most effective tools for falling asleep or simply relaxing.
Body scan:
This technique involves moving through your entire body, focusing on each part. This anatomical awareness allows for deep physical relaxation.
Tree Meditation:
This technique will allow you to root yourself deeply in the ground so as not to be carried away by your intrusive thoughts. Grounding gives you a better awareness of your body and its place in space.
Visualization:
It acts as a bridge connecting the conscious and unconscious mind. It is the ability to represent an image in the conscious mind.
VAKOG:
This technique, borrowed from neuro-linguistic programming, stimulates all five senses. It's ideal for preparing your mind and distracting you from the intrusive thoughts that keep you awake.
Hypnotic Suggestion:
This is the main tool of hypnosis! Suggestion is the ability to bring an idea to the table so that it is accepted without forcing it. It is the choice of words we use in our stories, "relax," "let go," "deeply," "easy," etc., that will facilitate your entry into sleep.
ASMR:
Automatic Sensory Meridian Responses are specific and amplified sounds that, according to some doctors, reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels and promote relaxation by increasing serotonin.
Jacobson Method:
Developed by the American doctor Edmund Jacobson in 1920, this technique allows you to immobilize or relax each part of the body to relax from the bottom up or from the top down.
